Great Stories – A Living Library

During the Month of November Cub Scout Pack 34 is learning about community and citizenship. On Monday, November 9th, from 6:30-8:00pm, we are hosting a living library and we need YOU to come and be one of our “living books”.

A living library (often called a Human Library) is an interactive event where real people—known as “living books”—are “checked out” by attendees (“readers”) for one-on-one conversations.

During this meeting Cub Scouts, in small groups, will check out 3-4 living books to hear a short 5-10 minute story and have 5-10 minutes to ask questions. We are asking for community members to join us and share stories about any of the following:

  • What Citizenship means to you.
  • Why Community is important.
  • An interesting citizenship moment in your life.
  • Something that inspired you when you were Cub Scout aged (5-10) that still impacts you today.
  • What your role in your community is

If you are willing to come and be a part of our library and inspire our scouts, please sign-up HERE: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4BA5A822A6FEC16-67173056-great
