Welcome to your first year of Cub Scouting! The Lion program is designed to help Kindergarten youth and their families learn, explore, and grow together. We’ll guide you through the year, answer your questions, and help you build confidence as you discover what Cub Scouting is all about.
The Lion program is unique because every Scout participates alongside a parent or trusted adult. Cub Scouting is a family adventure, and Lions gives families the opportunity to learn and grow together from day one.
You won’t be expected to figure it out on your own. At Pack 34, we’ll provide support and encouragement as your family gets comfortable with the program. As the year progresses, Lion families have opportunities to help with meetings and activities, building confidence while sharing the adventure together.
