Adventure is calling—and there’s never been a better time to join Cub Scout Pack 34!

This year our Cub Scouts will hike new trails, race Pinewood Derby cars, camp under the stars, serve our community, discover new skills, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Each month features a new adventure and theme, giving Scouts something exciting to look forward to all year long.

Whether your family is brand new to Scouting or returning for another year, there’s an adventure waiting for you.

All events are open to youth in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Boys and girls are welcome, and new families can join us at any point during the year! 

 

What to Expect

Our program is built around a mix of Pack-wide events, small-group activities, and outdoor adventures. Here’s a quick guide to what you’ll see on our calendar:

Adventure Nights
Adventure Nights combine the best of Pack and Den meetings. We gather as one Pack for ceremonies, songs, and shared experiences before Scouts break into their grade-level Dens to begin a common monthly adventure.

Den Meetings
Small-group meetings organized by grade level. Scouts work on adventures, build friendships, and grow together with their Den.

PALs Rally
Our monthly Parents and Leaders (PALs) Rally is an opportunity for families and leaders to collaborate on upcoming events, share important information, and ask questions about the Pack and program.

Pack Meetings
The entire Pack comes together for songs, skits, recognition, and exciting activities that bring our monthly theme to life. Scouts also work in mixed-age groups, giving them the opportunity to get to know Cub Scouts from across the Pack.

Camping & Outdoor Events
From family campouts to hikes and special outdoor adventures, these events help Scouts build confidence, learn new skills, and create lasting memories.

Service Projects & Community Events
Scouting is all about giving back. Throughout the year, our Scouts participate in service projects, parades, flag ceremonies, and community events that make a difference.

Special Events
Keep an eye out for favorites like Pinewood Derby and the Blue & Gold Banquet-Pack traditions you won’t want to miss! You’ll also find exciting council and district events, like Cub Launch and STEM University, that give Scouts even more opportunities to explore, learn, and have fun.

Pack 34 meets Monday evenings at 6:30 PM at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Edwardsville, with special events taking place throughout the community and outdoors.

Whether your child loves camping, building, racing, exploring, serving others, or simply making new friends, there’s a place for them in Pack 34.
